Looking for some advice on How to Start a SUCCESSFUL Youtube channel 2020? Gear Focus did some hiking in Rancho Cucamonga with YouTuber and Filmmaker Connor McCaskill. And we discussed how he started his channel and began growing it for success. Watch the video and listen to the podcast for some great advice.
How to Start a SUCCESSFUL Youtube channel 2020
Connor McCaskill is a filmmaker and new YouTuber who currently works with many other creators including Armando Ferreira, Dave Maze, as well as many more. He has gained experience from them and was also encouraged to start his own YouTube channel very recently. Connor loves the outdoors, so he brought our founder Matthew Baron for some early morning hiking and even made some coffee with water from the fresh mountain stream. We truly enjoyed spending some time with Connor in the outdoors and also enjoyed the fresh air!
Recently, Connor worked on a video with Armando Ferreira where they brought the production to a whole new level. They compared the new Canon C500 MKII with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K camera, so you'll gain some insight if you are interested in picking up either of those cameras. Creating content for a Youtube channel does not need to be hard, but it does sometimes take a push from others. We hope our interview and advice from Connor inspires you to start your own channel! If it does, leave a comment below and let us know. We love spreading the word and helping other creators out.
Connor's Camera Gear of Choice
Connor discusses his camera gear of choice which currently is the Fuji XT3, the Canon EOS R and some of his favorite lenses like the Helios 44-2. Connor has a very unique approach to his filmmaking and the content he creates for his YouTube channel. Check out his channel now and give him a subscribe and also watch some of his work. It'll be sure to inspire you as a Youtube creator if you're thinking of starting your own channel in 2020.
