Compatibility with other CN-E lenses is assured by identical 114mm front barrel diameter, positioning of focus and iris gears, and iris rotation.

Adaptable to full-frame and Super 35 sensors, the Canon 35mm lens comes with a harmonious 11-blade iris, and suppresses focus breathing remarkably. With dual-sided focus markings and a single, angled rear marking, it offers a 300° focus ring for fluid precision. The manual iris ring is geared, and the front barrel diameter is shared with other CN-E lenses.
