Master Prime Lens from ARRI in 14mm (PL, Meters)

The 14mm ARRI Master Prime lens is part of a 16 lens series, created by ARRI/Zeiss, known for excellent definition, high contrast, minimal breathing, and fast T1.3 opening for a refined shallow depth of field. The set expands from 12mm to 150mm, each lens showcasing the renowned skin tones and color rendition of Zeiss. Moreover, they are color-matched for consistency. The lenses are constructed with an iris of at least nine blades for cinematic bokeh with clear focus drop-off. The adoption of dual floating elements ensures superb near-focus capabilities while keeping breathing to a minimum during focus adjustments. The advanced T*XP coating enhances contrast by reducing reflections and glare. Equipped with aspherical elements to reduce chromatic aberration significantly, ARRI/Zeiss Master Primes deliver unmatched image quality and clear chroma-keying. The lenses ensure high resolution, even at the corners, when used at full aperture and close range. Provided with a PL mount, each lens also includes an integrated LDS system for conveying lens data to suitable cameras. The enlarged focus scale allows extensive room for markings and has fluorescent inscriptions for improved visibility in lower light conditions. The focus ring features dual units, feet and meters, which can be switched by a competent shop technician. The 14mm ARRI Master Prime Lens comes with a 14" minimum focus distance, focus markings in meters, a considerable light weight of 5.3 pounds, and an 8" compact length. Focus, iris, and zoom ring placements are consistent in this lens series, facilitating the use of follow focus, zoom control, and F/I/Z wireless systems. Most lenses in the Master Prime range, including the 14mm, share a standard 114mm front diameter, allowing for interchangeable use of matte box adapter, filters, etc.
