Tamron SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD Lens

The Tamron SP series updates the fast wide-angle prime lens for Nikon F mounts with the SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD, integrating VC image stabilization to advance image quality. The lens architecture incorporates one Low Dispersion and one eXtra Low Dispersion element alongside two aspherical elements to decrease various aberrations, ensure uniform lighting and sharpness, and minimize chromatic aberration. The eBAND and BBAR coatings enhance contrast and color accuracy by preventing flare and ghosting. The design features a ring-type Ultrasonic Silent Drive motor for swift and silent autofocus, complemented by a floating system to maintain consistent image quality throughout the focus range. Its minimum focus distance stands at 7.9", achieving a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.5, with additional weather seals and a fluorine-coated front element for extra protection against the elements and contaminants.
