Sony's DCR-SX63 16GB Handycam Camcorder offers up a bevy of user-friendly recording options and features. The SX63 is a standard definition, flash memory based camera with 16GB of internal, or as Sony puts it, embedded flash memory. And in accord with other 2010 camcorders from Sony, the SX63 now also allows for use of optional SD/SDHC memory cards. At the core of the DCR-SX63 you'll find a 1/8" Advanced HAD CCD image sensor. Sony's HAD (Hole Accumulation Diode) imager has 410K effective pixels of resolution and up to 500 lines of horizontal resolution for capturing quality video and still images. Another feature that warrants mention is the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with Sony's SteadyShot image stabilization.
