As we all know, there is a constant evolution in the creative world. Things are constantly changing at a mind-boggling pace. Most of those changes are good, but for Adobe, those changes are leading creatives away from their services in droves. Get Started with Divinci Resolve today!

For a while now, I've been struggling to get Adobe's Premiere Pro to work well on my machine. My editing PC is a purpose-built editing rig that has been able to handle 6K and 8K RAW footage with no problem in the past. However, after some of the recent updates, I was having issues editing 4K and even 1080p footage. I had an issue with a 4K multi-cam edit where my project froze. The response from Adobe? Start over...

That was the last straw. I was done. $52 ever single month for the last 3 years and I'm being told to start over. That was a hefty no thank you. I cancelled my subscription right then and there.

As a Blackmagic owner, I already had DaVinci Resolve Studio, so I decided to give it a try. I already knew that the color suite was world-class and the industry standard. I did not realize that the editor was as good as it was, and the Fusion tab is like having After Effects built in to your editor. Plus, you don't have to deal with that Dynamic Link BS!

I've been using Resolve for a little over a month at this point and there's no looking back. It's been awesome!! Over the course of that month, I found a few things that I thought would be useful to share to anyone considering making the switch. In our most recent video on the channel I walk you through those tips to help make your switch easier! Check out the video below!
