Over the course of my freelance career, I've learned that less is more. Since the start of quarantine, I've been working on simplifying my day to day filming kit. I've settled on one lens that is seemingly unstoppable. It does not matter whether I'm doing an engagement photography session, astrophotography in Colorado, or filming a commercial for a local car dealership, the CANON 24-105 F4 L will be attached to my cameras.
The Canon 24-105 F4 lens is known as the "video workhorse". After using it almost exclusively for about a year now, I can confirm that this is the case. At 24mm, the user gets a pleasing, wide-angle view. At the 105mm end of the lens, the user is able to get a nice reach, but also great image compression with the constant F4 aperture.
