The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, or as its more commonly known the BMPCC6K, is a Super 35 cinema camera that shoots 6K RAW video. It costs a stunning $1,995USD. For a camera at such a low price point, it packs a serious punch and rivals the image quality of cameras that are much more expensive.

We've been using the BMPCC6K as our main video camera for the last year. Over that time, we've found ourselves using the same settings each and every time. Because of the custom buttons, we are able to quickly change our settings to keep a shoot moving forward. When paired with the Canon 24-105 F4 lens, it makes for an unstoppable run and gun setup.

In our latest video on the Gear Focus Youtube Channel, we talk all about those settings. Contrary to popular belief, one does not have to shoot in RAW video constantly to get a good image. In fact, we almost never use RAW, unless there is a specific need for it. So head on over to Youtube and check that video out! And while you're over there makes sure you hit that like and subscribe button to stay up to date with everything happening at Gear Focus! We've got some awesome updates rolling out so stay tuned for more!
