The Canon EOS C300 cinema camera centers on a Super 35 sensor with 8.29 megapixels effective resolution, processed by the DIGIC DV III image processor. It captures video at 1920 x 1080 across a wide range of frame rates — 59.94p, 59.94i, 29.97p, 23.98p, 50p, 50i, 25p, and 24p — accommodating broadcast and cinematic production requirements alike. The native ISO range of 320 to 20000 handles diverse lighting scenarios, and color pipeline options include Canon Log, Wide DR, EOS Standard, Cinema, and Custom profiles at 8-bit bit depth.
Recording is to CompactFlash media, with Full HDMI output for external monitoring or recording. Audio is handled via a 3.5mm stereo mini jack on the body and XLR inputs via the handle unit.
