BlueMark extends its family of RemoteID transponders with the db150, a smaller version of the popular db120 transponder. It is only 12.5 grams! DroneBeacon is a family of modules that are so-called direct or broadcast audited Remote ID long-range transponders (both FAA and EU). Audited RemoteID means that an external audit has confirmed that these modules are compliant with regulation in the USA and EU. Read why this matters here. The db150 is a 3rd generation RemoteID transponder that is half the size and weight of the db120. It is only 12.5 grams and supports all transmission modes and has a battery life of 120 minutes (2 hours). There are 4 battery LEDs to show the current battery level. The transponder can be configured easy using any device, by pressing the configuration button and connect to the dronebeacon Access Point. This is one of the only manufacturers of RID modules that has went through third partd independent audits and passed certification with the FAA so you can use it with confidence! A manufacturer of RemoteID hardware can claim that it is compliant (self-declaration), but without a third party audit, there is limited assurance that this is indeed the case. This results in risks to operators (end-users) if the products they purchase are later found to be non-compliant. It could result in rescinding of an accepted compliant product (drone or RemoteID add-on).
