The ARRI Master Prime 100mm lens is part of a set of 16 masterpieces from ARRI/Zeiss. Spanning from 12mm to 150mm, the Master Primes are renowned for the quality of skin tones and color rendering, consistent with Zeiss standards. The lenses are color-balanced to ensure consistency. High resolution is sustained at corners, even in wide-open and close-focus operations. Each lens is fitted with a PL mount and an integrated LDS system to transfer lens data to compatible cameras. The spacious focus scale facilitates markings and features fluorescent engravings for better visibility under dim light. The focus ring displays measurements in feet and metric, switchable by a competent shop technician. The ARRI Master Prime 100mm lens has a minimum focus distance of 39", and weighs a mere 6.4 pounds, with a compact length of 8". Uniform placement of focus, iris, and zoom rings characterize this family of lenses, allowing easy handling with follow focus and F/I/Z wireless systems. Most lenses in the Master Prime series, including the 100mm, maintain a standard 114mm front diameter for use with matte box adapter and filter of the same size.
