Lens Overview — Cambo ACTAR-60

The Cambo ACTAR-60 is a 60mm wide-angle prime lens built specifically for use with the Cambo ACTUS-B technical camera system. Designed with mirrorless camera compatibility in mind, it mounts via a Lens Board (Technical Camera) interface, fitting naturally into the ACTUS-B ecosystem. With a focal length of 60mm and a maximum aperture of f/4, this lens is positioned as a wide-angle option in the large format lens category, suited for photographers who require precise manual control over their imaging.

Focus is entirely manual, with no autofocus or image stabilization on board — characteristics consistent with technical camera use, where deliberate, considered shooting is the norm. The lens features a 40.5mm filter thread, allowing standard screw-in filters to be attached without adapters. At 425 grams, it offers a relatively manageable weight for a large format optic intended for technical camera rigs.

The ACTAR-60 is a purpose-built tool for photographers working within the ACTUS-B platform who need a reliable wide-angle prime with manual operation and large format lens compatibility.
