Description — Canon 900 IS / SD800 IS
The Canon IXY 900 IS / SD800 IS is a compact point-and-shoot camera designed around ease of use and portability. Its 1/2.5-inch, 7.1MP sensor captures stills at up to 3072x2304 pixels, while an ISO range of 80–1600 provides flexibility in different lighting environments. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is built in to help keep shots sharp during handheld use. The 2.5-inch LCD on the rear makes composing and reviewing images easy.
For video, the camera handles up to 480p at 30fps. Storage is via SD and SDHC cards, and a USB connection allows straightforward transfer to a computer. A built-in flash handles low-light situations.
The NB-5L battery is rated at approximately 240 shots per charge. At 89.5 x 58.0 x 25.1 mm and just 185g, this plastic-bodied compact fits easily into a pocket. Note that there is no weather sealing and no HDMI output.
