The Canon Digital IXUS 200 IS is a slim, brushed metal point-and-shoot camera weighing just 150g with dimensions of 100 x 53 x 23 mm, making it genuinely pocket-sized. At its core is a 12MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor driven by Canon's DIGIC 4 image processor, capable of capturing stills at up to 4000x3000 pixels. The camera's 3.0-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with 230,000 dots serves as both the primary viewfinder and control interface — there is no optical viewfinder. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is built in to help control camera shake.
