The Canon EOS RP is a full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 26MP sensor powered by Canon's DIGIC 8 image processor. It covers a native ISO range of 100–40000, giving shooters latitude across varied lighting situations. The autofocus system spans 4779 focus points through a combination of Dual Pixel AF and Contrast Detection, with eye tracking and subject tracking included for dynamic subject coverage.
Continuous shooting reaches 5 fps, with a maximum still resolution of 6240x4160 pixels and a choice of eight color profiles including Standard, Portrait, Landscape, and Monochrome. Video capture goes up to 4K at 25fps in 8-bit, with frame rate options of 24fps, 30fps, and 60fps also available. The 3.0-inch Vari-Angle LCD (1.04 million dots) pairs with a 2.36 million-dot OLED EVF refreshing at 60Hz.
