Description — Canon IXUS 130
The Canon IXUS 130 is a compact point-and-shoot camera centered on a 14MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor processed by Canon's DIGIC 4 engine. Photos are captured at up to 4320x3240 pixels with an ISO range of 80 to 1600. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is on board, and autofocus is handled by a 9-point system combining Contrast Detection and Face Detection AF, with subject tracking also supported. Six color profiles — Standard, Vivid, Neutral, Sepia, Black & White, and Custom — give shooters some in-camera creative control over their JPEGs.
The 2.7-inch fixed LCD at 230,000 dots is the sole composing and playback screen. Video records at 720p/30fps in 8-bit Standard color. The body measures 92.2 x 56.1 x 17.8mm, weighs 133g, and uses a Plastic/Metal construction with no weather sealing.
Storage runs via SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards, and the camera connects externally through Mini HDMI and USB. The Canon NB-4L battery is rated at approximately 230 shots per charge (CIPA standard).
