The Canon PowerShot ELPH 180 is a no-frills compact camera designed for straightforward everyday use. Its 20MP sensor, sized at 1/2.3 inches, is paired with the DIGIC 4+ image processor to handle photo and video capture. The body measures just 95.2 x 54.3 x 22.1 mm and weighs 126g, making it easy to slip into a pocket or small bag.
Framing is handled entirely through the 2.7-inch TFT LCD with 230,000-dot resolution — there's no optical or electronic viewfinder. Autofocus uses Contrast Detection combined with Face Detection AF and subject tracking. ISO sensitivity spans 100 to 1600, and stabilization is handled by Digital/Electronic IS.
Video records at up to 720p at 25fps or 30fps in 8-bit color. The camera supports eight photo color profiles including Vivid, Monochrome, Super Vivid, Fisheye Effect, Toy Camera Effect, and Miniature Effect.
