Description — Canon PowerShot G5
The Canon PowerShot G5 centers its imaging capability on a 1/1.8-inch sensor producing 5MP images at up to 2592x1944 pixels, processed by Canon's DIGIC engine. The ISO range of 50–400 suits well-lit environments, and burst shooting runs at up to 2fps for basic sequential captures. Five color profiles — Vivid, Neutral, Low Sharpening, Sepia, and Black & White — give shooters in-camera creative flexibility without post-processing.
Autofocus uses contrast detection with a single point selectable as center or FlexiZone AF. The 1.8-inch TFT LCD at 118,000 dots handles live composition and review, while the optical tunnel viewfinder offers an alternative framing method. A built-in flash and hot shoe supporting the Canon Speedlite EX series round out the exposure toolkit.
