Description — Canon PowerShot Pro70
The Canon PowerShot Pro70 is a point-and-shoot digital camera featuring a 1/2-inch sensor with a resolution of 1.68MP, capable of producing images up to 1536x1024 pixels in the sRGB color profile. The ISO sensitivity range runs from 100 to 400, and the camera supports a burst mode at up to 3 frames per second for capturing fast-moving moments. Composition is aided by an optical real-image zoom viewfinder and a 2.0-inch articulating TFT LCD, the latter allowing the screen to be angled for more versatile framing.
Autofocus uses a contrast detection system with a single central focus point. For flash work, the Canon EX-compatible hot shoe accepts Speedlite units including the 220EX and 380EX. The body features an aluminum shell with plastic elements, measures 148 x 84 x 130 mm, and weighs 800g.
Storage is via CompactFlash media. The camera runs on a Canon NB-4H NiMH rechargeable battery or a 2CR5 lithium cell, with an estimated 200 shots per charge on the NB-4H. There is no image stabilization, no Wi-Fi, and no Bluetooth.
