Description — Canon SX130 IS
The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS pairs a 12.1MP sensor on a 1/2.3-inch format with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to deliver a capable everyday point-and-shoot experience. Still images can be captured at a maximum resolution of 4000x3000 pixels, while the ISO range of 80 to 1600 provides flexibility across a range of lighting scenarios. For video, the camera records up to 720p at 30fps, covering casual clip capture alongside its primary stills role.
The 3-inch LCD screen makes composing shots and reviewing images comfortable in a compact body that measures just 113.3 x 73.2 x 45.8 mm and weighs 308 grams. Storage is handled by SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards, and images can be transferred via USB. The camera's use of AA batteries is a practical advantage for travellers, eliminating dependence on a proprietary charger — though the rated life of approximately 130 shots means keeping spare batteries on hand is worthwhile.
