The Canon Vixia HF R700 is a lightweight consumer camcorder designed for everyday video capture. At the heart of the system is a 1/4.85-inch CMOS sensor with 2.07MP resolution, delivering Full HD 1080p footage at your choice of 24fps, 30fps, or 60fps. Recordings can be saved in either MP4 or AVCHD format to an SD, SDHC, or SDXC card.
Image stabilization comes courtesy of Optical IS (OIS) with an additional Digital IS option for extra steadiness. The Contrast Detection autofocus system keeps subjects sharp during shooting. A 3.0-inch LCD with 230,000 dots handles all monitoring duties.
