The DJI Action 360 pairs a 1/2.3-inch, 12MP sensor with a capable video pipeline that tops out at 4K resolution and 60fps. Frame rate options cover 24fps, 30fps, and 60fps, and footage can be recorded in MP4 or MOV format using H.264 or H.265 codecs — H.265 offering better compression efficiency for longer shoots. Both photo and video modes support Standard and Cinelike color profiles, with video output at 8-bit color depth.
Still photography reaches 4000x3000 pixels with a burst mode capable of 30 frames per second. The ISO range spans 100 to 3200, and the fixed-focus, contrast-detection autofocus system keeps things simple and reliable. Built-in digital electronic image stabilization smooths out shake during active use.
