Description — DJI Neo
The DJI Neo is a 135 g, palm-sized drone measuring 130 × 157 × 48.5 mm and built from a plastic composite frame. Its 1/2-inch, 12 MP sensor captures stills at up to 4000×3000 (4:3) or 4000×2256 (16:9), with an ISO range of 100–6400 for handling varied lighting conditions. On the video side, the Neo shoots 4K at 30fps in both 4:3 (3840×2880) and 16:9 (3840×2160) aspect ratios, and steps down to 1080p at up to 60fps across 4:3, 16:9, and vertical 9:16 orientations — that last option being particularly useful for social platforms.
All video is recorded in 8-bit color using the Normal color profile. Stabilization is achieved through gimbal stabilization combined with digital IS, while an AI-based subject tracking system keeps moving subjects in frame. The lens operates at a fixed focus from 0.6 m to infinity.
Power comes from the DJI Neo Intelligent Flight Battery (2S LiPo), good for approximately 18 minutes per charge. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi and USB-C, with internal storage handling media. Note that the drone carries no weather sealing.
