The camera's hybrid autofocus system pairs Phase Detection and Contrast Detection across 49 focus points to lock focus quickly and accurately. Burst shooting reaches 6 frames per second, while the ISO range spans 200 to 6400 natively.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the X100S is its Hybrid (Optical + Electronic) viewfinder, which offers an electronic mode with 2.36 million dots at 60Hz — complemented by a 2.8-inch TFT LCD rear monitor with 460,000 dots. Video recording tops out at 1080p with frame rate options of 60fps, 30fps, 25fps, and 24fps in 8-bit color.
