The JVC GY-HD200 professional HDV camcorder is built around a three-chip imaging system using 3 x 1280 x 720 pixel native progressive scan CCDs, each at 1/3 inch sensor size, processed through an Enhanced DSP with a 14-bit A/D converter. Maximum video resolution reaches 1280 x 720 HD with a frame rate range of 24fps, 25fps, 30fps, 50fps, and 60fps recorded at 8-bit bitdepth onto tape media (MiniDV). The bayonet lens mount supports interchangeable lenses, and the camera operates with manual focus only. Monitoring is provided via a 3.5-inch flip-out LCD and a detachable color LCD viewfinder, both at 230,000 pixels resolution.
