Camera Overview — Leica Q2 Monochrom
Key Features — Leica Q2 Monochrom
47MP Full-Frame Sensor: The monochrome-only full-frame sensor captures exceptionally detailed black-and-white files with fine tonal gradation across the full image area.
Dedicated Monochrome Design: With no color filter array over the sensor, every pixel captures luminance data directly, resulting in higher resolving power and cleaner files than a color sensor converted to black and white.
ISO 100–100,000 Range: Wide native ISO range gives photographers flexibility to shoot in everything from bright daylight to low-light environments while retaining usable detail.
3.68MP OLED Viewfinder: The high-resolution electronic viewfinder runs at 60 Hz; frame rate should be verified against official Leica Q2 Monochrom specifications.
Fixed 28mm f/1.7 Lens: The integrated Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens offers a wide aperture well suited to available-light photography and environmental portraiture.
In-Lens Optical Stabilization: Optical image stabilization built into the fixed lens helps reduce camera shake for sharper handheld results, particularly in lower light.
