Description — Leica V-LUX 20
The Leica V-Lux 20 is a point-and-shoot bridge camera featuring a 12MP sensor in a 1/2.3-inch format, capturing stills at up to 4000x3000 pixels. It offers a burst mode at 2.3fps and an autofocus system combining contrast detection and Face Detection AF across 11 focus points, with subject tracking enabled for moving scenes. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is built in to help manage camera shake. The 3.0-inch TFT LCD with 460,800 dots of resolution serves as the primary framing and review screen — there is no viewfinder on this model.
Video recording reaches 720p at 30fps in 8-bit color, with five color profile options: Standard, Vivid, Natural, Black & White, and Sepia. The built-in pop-up flash handles on-camera lighting, and a Mini HDMI port allows output to external screens. At just 218g and 103 x 62 x 33 mm, the plastic/metal composite body is easy to carry, and the SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot keeps storage options flexible.
The battery is rated for approximately 300 shots per charge under CIPA standards.
