The Nikon 1 J2 is a compact mirrorless camera designed around a 10.1 MP CX Format (Nikon 1) sensor and powered by the Expeed 3 image processor. It delivers a maximum still resolution of 3872 x 2592 pixels and supports an ISO range of 100 to 3200. The 135-point hybrid AF system — combining both Phase Detection and Contrast Detection — enables quick subject acquisition, while burst shooting at up to 10 fps helps photographers keep up with moving subjects.
Video capabilities include Full HD 1920 x 1080 recording at 30fps and 60fps in 8-bit color. The rear display is a 3-inch LCD with 921,000 dots of resolution. Connectivity includes Mini HDMI output and USB, with storage via SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards.
