The Nikon COOLPIX P530 is a point-and-shoot camera centered on a 16MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor with a maximum still resolution of 4608x3456 pixels. A contrast-detection autofocus system handles focus duties, while lens-based image stabilization works to minimize the effects of camera shake during handheld shooting.
