Description — Nikon Coolpix P530
The Nikon COOLPIX P530 is a point-and-shoot camera centered on a 16MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor with a maximum still resolution of 4608x3456 pixels. A contrast-detection autofocus system handles focus duties, while lens-based image stabilization works to minimize the effects of camera shake during handheld shooting. When speed matters, the P530's burst mode can fire at up to 7 frames per second, giving you a better chance of capturing the decisive moment.
Video shooters can record at 1080p at 30/25p or choose from a wide selection of 720p frame rates — from 12.5p up to 60p — depending on the look they need. Composing shots is made easier by the 3.0-inch, 921k-dot LCD display, and an electronic viewfinder offers an alternative when conditions call for it. The camera stores images to SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards and connects to a computer via USB.
Power comes from the EN-EL5 Lithium-Ion battery, rated at approximately 200–300 shots per charge. Note that this model has no weather sealing and lacks Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity.
