The Nikon COOLPIX S2 is a compact point-and-shoot camera designed for portability. At its core is a 5MP, 1/2.5-inch sensor delivering a maximum still image resolution of 2592x1944 pixels in sRGB color.
The 2.5-inch TFT LCD screen offers 110,000 dots of resolution for image review and live composition. Autofocus uses contrast detection with 1 focus point. Sensitivity spans ISO 50 to 400, and burst shooting is available at up to 1.8 frames per second.
