The Olympus C-40 Zoom is a 4MP point-and-shoot compact built around a 1/1.8-inch sensor with a maximum still image resolution of 2288x1712 pixels. The body is constructed from aluminum and plastic, measures 87 x 69 x 44 mm, and weighs 230g, making it genuinely pocketable. Framing is possible through either the optical tunnel-type viewfinder or the 1.5-inch TFT LCD with 114,000 dots of resolution.
Autofocus uses a contrast detection system with 1 focus point, while ISO sensitivity spans 100 to 400.
