The Olympus Camedia C-3040 Zoom is a point-and-shoot compact camera centered on a 3MP, 1/1.8-inch sensor with a maximum still resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. Color output options include sRGB, Black & White, and Sepia, selectable in-camera. The autofocus system relies on contrast detection with 1 focus point, and manual focus is also available.
The ISO range spans 100 to 400. A burst mode capable of 3.3fps is on hand for sequential captures. Exposure is supported by a built-in flash with multiple modes plus a 5-pin external flash socket for expanded lighting.
