The Olympus Camedia C-5000 Zoom is a 5MP point-and-shoot camera built on a 1/1.8-inch sensor, capable of capturing stills at up to 2560x1920 pixels. Shooters can select from Standard, High, and Super High color profiles to tailor in-camera JPEG output. Autofocus is handled by a contrast detection system with a single focus point, keeping operation simple and direct.
The ISO 50–320 range is best matched to daylight and well-lit indoor environments. For framing, the camera offers both a 1.8-inch, 134,000-dot TFT LCD and an optical real-image zoom tunnel viewfinder.
