Olympus Camedia C-700 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera

The Olympus Camedia C-700 Ultra Zoom is a point-and-shoot digital camera built around a fixed lens design and a 2MP sensor measuring 1/2.5 inch. Images are captured at a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, with color profile options including sRGB, Black & White, Sepia, Whiteboard, and Blackboard — giving shooters a handful of in-camera looks to work with. The camera features an Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) for composing shots alongside a 1.5-inch TFT LCD display with 114,000 pixels of resolution.

For focusing, the C-700 relies on a contrast detection autofocus system with a single central point that supports area selection, though it does not include subject tracking or eye tracking. The ISO range runs from 100 to 800, and the camera has no image stabilization of any kind — optical, in-body, or digital. Video recording is supported at up to 320x240 at 15fps in 8-bit depth.

Storage is handled via Memory Stick media. The body is constructed from plastic with a metallic silver finish, weighs 300g, and measures 107 x 76 x 78 mm. Power comes from four AA batteries, compatible with alkaline, NiMH, or lithium types.

Connectivity includes USB, while Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are absent. A built-in pop-up flash is included, along with a proprietary Olympus hot shoe for external flash use.
