Description — Olympus E-PL1s
The Olympus PEN E-PL1s is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera centered on a 12MP sensor processed by the TruePic V image engine. The camera supports an ISO range of 100 to 3200 and captures stills at up to 4032x3024 pixels, with a burst rate of 3.5fps and color profile options including Standard, Vivid, and Muted. In-body sensor-shift (IBIS) stabilization helps counteract camera shake without adding weight.
The Micro Four Thirds lens mount ensures broad lens system compatibility. Composing and reviewing images is handled through a 2.7-inch, 230,000-dot LCD — there is no viewfinder. A built-in pop-up flash and hot shoe round out the lighting options.
Video recording reaches up to 720p at 30fps in 8-bit with a Standard color profile. The body measures 115 x 72 x 42 mm, weighs 334g, and is constructed from metal and plastic with no weather sealing. Storage uses SD and SDHC cards, and the Lithium-Ion battery is rated for approximately 290 shots per charge.
