Description — Olympus Stylus 1
The Olympus Stylus 1 pairs a 12MP, 1/1.7-inch sensor with the TruePic VI image processor to deliver capable stills and video in a compact body. The ISO range runs from 100 to 12800, and burst shooting reaches 7fps for capturing sequences of moving subjects. A 3-inch tilting touchscreen LCD makes low- and high-angle compositions straightforward, while the 1.44M-dot, 60Hz electronic viewfinder is a strong option when a more traditional framing experience is preferred.
Optical image stabilization is onboard to minimize the effect of camera shake. Video maxes out at 1080p across five frame rates — 24, 25, 30, 50, and 60fps — and still image color profiles include Standard, Vivid, and Muted. Storage is handled via SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards, and Wi-Fi and USB connectivity cover wireless and wired transfer needs.
Autofocus is handled by a contrast detection system. Note that no weather sealing is present on this camera.
