The Olympus Stylus Tough 6020 is a ruggedized point-and-shoot compact camera built around a 14MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor powered by the TruePic III image processor. Designed for active use, its metal and plastic body carries a weather-sealed rating, making it a reliable companion for demanding outdoor conditions. Weighing just 122g and measuring a slim 95 x 62 x 22 mm, it's easy to pocket and carry anywhere.

The camera features sensor-shift in-body image stabilization to help reduce blur from camera movement during handheld shooting. Autofocus is handled by a contrast detection system supplemented by face detection AF and subject tracking, with a single center focus point as the primary target. The 2.7-inch fixed LCD with 230,000 dots serves as the primary compositional aid, as the camera does not include a viewfinder.
