Description — Olympus VG-180
The Olympus Stylus VG-180 is a 16MP point-and-shoot compact built on a 1/2.3-inch sensor, designed for straightforward everyday photography. Its plastic body measures just 95.4 x 58.2 x 21 mm and tips the scales at 122g, so it slips easily into a jacket pocket or small bag. The 2.7-inch TFT LCD with 230,000-dot resolution handles all framing and playback duties.
Contrast detection AF with face detection and subject tracking helps keep subjects sharp, all managed through a single focus point. The ISO range spans 100 to 1600, and color output can be tuned via Standard, Vivid, or Magic Filters profiles. Digital/Electronic IS helps reduce blur from camera shake. Video records at up to 720p/30fps in 8-bit depth.
The built-in flash reaches up to 4.9 m at wide angle (ISO 800) and supports Auto, Red-eye reduction, Fill-in, and Off modes. Storage is covered by SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards, and the camera connects via USB. The LI-42B battery is rated for approximately 300 shots per charge.
