Description — Olympus VH-515
The Olympus Stylus VH-515 is a 12MP point-and-shoot compact camera with a 1/2.3-inch sensor capturing stills at up to 3968x2976 pixels. Its sensor-shift image stabilization (IBIS) works to counteract camera shake for sharper handheld images. The 3.0-inch fixed LCD with 460,000 dots makes it easy to frame and review shots without a separate viewfinder.
For video, the VH-515 handles 1080p at 30fps in 8-bit color, covering the needs of everyday casual recording. The ISO range of 100–1600 handles standard lighting conditions well. Autofocus is handled by a contrast detection system.
At just 152g and 102 x 60 x 21mm, the plastic-bodied camera is genuinely pocketable. Storage is flexible across SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards, and the camera connects to computers via USB. A built-in flash and the LI-50B rechargeable lithium-ion battery round out the feature set.
Note that there is no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or weather sealing.
