Description — Olympus TG-1 iHS
The Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS is a point-and-shoot compact camera designed with outdoor use in mind. The body is made from rugged plastic with water-resistant sealing, providing a degree of protection in tough environments. Image capture is handled by a 1/2.3-inch, 12MP sensor driven by the TruePic VI image processor, with an ISO sensitivity range spanning 100 to 6400.
Still images can be shot in Standard, Vivid, or Muted color profiles at a maximum resolution of 3968x2976 pixels, and burst shooting reaches up to 5fps. On the video side, the TG-1 records at up to 1080p with frame rate options of 30fps and 60fps in 8-bit depth. The 3-inch LCD serves as the primary composition and playback tool.
Image stabilization is provided via Digital / Electronic IS. Storage uses SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards, and external display connection is available through a Micro HDMI port. The camera is powered by a Lithium-ion LI-90B battery rated at 350 shots per charge.
