The Olympus Tough TG-6 is a point-and-shoot compact camera built around a 12MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor and TruePic VIII image processor. Its weather-sealed body, made from polycarbonate with metal reinforcement, weighs 253g and measures 113 x 66 x 31.9 mm — compact enough for a jacket pocket. The ISO range runs from 100 to 12800, with color profiles including sRGB, Vivid, Natural, Muted, Monochrome, and Underwater options for stills.
Burst shooting reaches 20fps, and maximum still resolution is 4000x3000. For video, the camera records up to 4K at frame rates of 24fps, 25fps, 30fps, 60fps, and 120fps in 8-bit color, with Standard and Underwater color profiles available. Image stabilization combines Sensor-Shift (IBIS) and digital IS.
