Description — Olympus XZ-1
The Olympus XZ-1 is a point-and-shoot compact camera built around a 10MP, 1/1.7-inch sensor and driven by the TruePic V image processor. It shoots stills at a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736 pixels and offers a native ISO range of 100 to 6400. The camera's sensor-shift in-body image stabilization works without digital cropping, keeping image quality intact during handheld shooting.
A 3-inch OLED display with 614,000 dots of resolution dominates the rear, delivering sharp and vivid image playback. For action and moving subjects, the 7fps burst mode provides a genuine advantage in this camera category. Color picture profiles — Standard, Vivid, and Muted — give photographers some creative control over JPEG output.
Video recording is available at 720p / 30fps. The body combines aluminum and plastic construction in compact dimensions of 111 x 65 x 42 mm, weighing just 274g. Storage uses SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards, and the camera connects via USB.
No Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or weather sealing is present.
