Camera Overview — OM System OM-3
Key Features — OM System OM-3
20MP Stacked CMOS Sensor: The Four Thirds BSI Stacked CMOS sensor — shared with the OM-1 Mark II — enables fast readout speeds that support high continuous shooting rates and reduced rolling shutter distortion.
6.5 EV In-Body Stabilization: The IBIS system is rated at 6.5 EV of compensation and can coordinate with select lenses, making handheld shooting at slow shutter speeds more reliable.
80MP High-Resolution Mode: A multi-shot composite mode delivers up to 80MP on a tripod or 50MP handheld, extracting far more detail than the native sensor resolution for landscape and studio work.
4K 60fps Full-Width Video: The camera reads out the full sensor width at up to 4K 60fps with no crop, and records 10-bit H.265 footage in OM-Log400 or HLG for flexible color grading.
120fps Continuous Shooting: The electronic shutter reaches 120fps with AF/AE locked and 50fps with continuous autofocus active, making it capable of capturing fast-moving subjects with minimal gaps.
IP53 Weather Sealing: The metal-clad body is rated IP53, providing protection against dust ingress and light rain for outdoor and travel shooting in variable conditions.
