The Panasonic LUMIX 3D1 is a compact point-and-shoot camera centered on a 12MP 1/2.3-inch sensor processed by the Venus Engine image processor. Stills are captured at up to 4000x3000 pixels with a burst rate of 8 frames per second, and ISO sensitivity spans 100 to 3200. The primary interface is a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD with 460K dot resolution — there is no viewfinder.
Autofocus uses a 23-point contrast detection system with subject tracking. Stabilization is provided by Optical IS (OIS) along with a digital IS option. Video records at up to 1080p at 30fps in 8-bit color, with Standard and Cinema color profiles available.
