Description — Panasonic DMC-FS62
The Panasonic LUMIX FS62 is a slim, lightweight point-and-shoot camera designed for uncomplicated everyday photography. At the core is a 10MP sensor measuring 1/2.5 inches, paired with an ISO range of 80 to 1600. The camera features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to help counteract hand movement during shooting.
Framing and review are handled via a 2.5-inch TFT LCD screen with 230,000 dots of resolution — the only display option, as no viewfinder is fitted. Autofocus relies on contrast detection. For video, the FS62 records at a maximum of 30fps across three resolution options: 848x480, 640x480, and 320x240.
Storage uses SD and SDHC cards, and the camera connects via USB. At just 115g and 97 x 54.4 x 21.2 mm, it is genuinely pocketable. Note that there is no weather sealing, and wireless features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are absent.
