Description — Panasonic DMC-FZ200
The Panasonic LUMIX FZ200 point-and-shoot camera pairs a 12MP sensor on a 1/2.3-inch chip with the Venus Engine image processor, operating across an ISO range of 100 to 3200. Stills are captured at up to 4000x3000 pixels with a rapid 12fps burst mode for fast-moving subjects. Seven color profiles — Standard, Vivid, Natural, Monochrome, Scenery, Portrait, and Custom — give shooters creative control over image rendering.
The camera records video up to 1080p in 8-bit color, with an extensive selection of frame rates including 24fps, 25fps, 30fps, 50fps, 60fps, 120fps, and 240fps. A 3.0-inch Vari-Angle LCD at 460,000 dots and a 1.31-million-dot OLED EVF at 60Hz provide two options for composing images. Optical image stabilization (OIS) is built in, and autofocus uses a contrast detection system with 23 focus points and subject tracking. Connectivity includes Micro HDMI, a 3.5mm microphone jack, and USB.
The body measures 125.2 x 86.6 x 110.2 mm and weighs 588g, with a DMW-BLC12 battery rated for approximately 540 shots per charge.
