It captures stills at up to 4000x3000 pixels with a burst rate of 3fps and an ISO range of 100–6400. Video recording reaches 1080p at 30fps (with 24fps also available) in 8-bit color, with four color profiles — Standard, Vivid, Natural, and Monochrome — available for both photo and video.
The 23-point contrast detection autofocus system handles focus duties without eye or subject tracking. The rear 3-inch touchscreen LCD at 460,000 dots is the sole framing method, as no viewfinder is included.
