Description — Panasonic DMC-GX7
The Panasonic LUMIX GX7 is a 16MP Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera powered by the Venus Engine image processor. Built into a magnesium alloy body measuring 123 x 71 x 55mm and weighing just 402g, it strikes a balance between durability and portability. The camera's Sensor-Shift IBIS system works independently of the lens to help reduce camera shake.
Shooting stills, you get an ISO range of 200 to 25600 and a maximum burst rate of 9fps. The 3.0-inch tilting touchscreen LCD at 1.04 million dots makes it easy to compose from a variety of angles, while the 2.76 million dot electronic viewfinder at 60Hz delivers a smooth, detailed view. Autofocus combines Contrast Detection with Face Detection AF, eye tracking, and subject tracking.
For video, the GX7 handles 1080p recording at up to 60p in 8-bit. Wi-Fi connectivity is built in, and output options include Micro HDMI. Storage is via SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, and a built-in flash plus standard ISO hot shoe are also on board.
