The rear 3-inch TFT LCD display delivers 460,000 dots of resolution for clear image framing and playback. For stabilization, the SZ7 employs Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to help keep shots sharp during handheld use.
The autofocus system uses contrast detection, and burst shooting is supported at up to 10 frames per second. The ISO 100–6400 range provides usable sensitivity across different lighting scenarios. Video is captured at 30fps, and the camera outputs to external screens via Mini HDMI.
