Description — Panasonic DMC-TS5
The Panasonic LUMIX TS5 is a weather-sealed compact point-and-shoot camera powered by a 16MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor, delivering still images at up to 4608x3456 pixels. Burst shooting reaches 10 frames per second, supported by a contrast detection autofocus system with 23 focus points, Face Detection AF, and subject tracking. Optical image stabilization (OIS) helps keep images sharp during handheld shooting. For video, the TS5 captures footage at up to 1080p at 60fps or 30fps in 8-bit color.
The 3.0-inch fixed LCD with 460,000-dot resolution is the primary interface for framing and playback. An ISO range of 100–6400 handles varying light levels, while 15 creative color profiles — including Retro, Cross Process, Toy Effect, and Miniature Effect among others — offer extensive in-camera creative control for stills. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, USB, and Micro HDMI output.
The camera stores images on SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards and is powered by the DMW-BCM13 battery, rated for approximately 370 shots per charge. At 214g and 109.2 x 67.4 x 28.9mm, it is compact and portable for everyday and outdoor use.
